British Council Officials Visits Virtual University

British Counsil's Regional Director South Asia Stephan Roman, and Mr. Richard Weyers, Director Punjab and other officials visited Virtual University. Mr. Tajdar Alam, Rector Virtual University, welcomed the British council officials. Dr. Naveed Malik(Advisor Academic VU), briefed them about Virtual University's mode of education, unique examination system and its future plans.  The main agenda for the meeting was to talk about the British Council initiative regarding the scoping study of the English language learning and teaching situation in Pakistan and Punjab in particular as the most populous state. British Council officials expressed their desire to collaborate with Virtual University regarding English language learning and proficiency.  Later, the British council officials toured VUTV network and appreciated the state of art television set up of Virtual University.
