Job Title : Oracle Developer with DBA
Location : NYC,NY
Duration : 1 year contracts
 
Must Have :
Required Skills:
Minimum 7 years IT industry experience.
3-4 years of strong experience with PL/SQL and Transact SQL and with developing complex SQL queries on large projects.
Excellent analytical and communication skills, able to present to senior management and non-technical clients.
Development experience in Oracle 10g/11g on UNIX and SQL Server 2005/2008 on Windows.  
Good understanding of relational database concepts.  
Strong database design skills.
Proven ability to script solutions (Windows, Unix) as well as a strong knowledge of the GUI administration tools (Windows) to manage change control and monitoring of the systems.
Able to maintain and implement corporate IT database standards.
Unix scripting and Windows scripting is a must
Able to implement change management principles and policies.
Able to play the role of liaison with production/system areas of the DBA and UNIX staff
Experience with Replication, Partitioning and data load utilities.
Ability to multitask on various activities.  
Ability to work with Application development teams on support issues.  
Ability to work in a team environment and be proactive.  
 
Preferred Skills:
Oracle and/or MS SQL Server Certified.
Experience with entity modeling tools like ERStudio.
Experience with monitoring tools such as SCOM, Perfmon, SQL Server Integration Services.
Windows 2003/2008 administration knowledge.
Familiarity with source control systems like CVS.
Development experience in APEX is a plus.
Familiarity with job scheduling tools, such as TIDAL.
