Java Developer with Sun Certification	CA	12+ Month

 

Job title :  Java Developer

Work Location: Rancho Cordova, CA

Duration: Contract – 12 month

Background: Selected candidate will need to complete a drug screen and background check.

Brief Job Description: Our client is hiring two (2) Java Developers to join an existing contract in Sacramento, CA. The project is the Case Management, Information and Payrolling System (CMIPS II) with the State of CA. This is Phase II of the project and the Java Developers will join the implementation phase of the project.

Required Skills

• JAVA certification is required (SCJP)
• Minimum 2 years programming experience developing software using Java within a J2EE environment. Hands-on development using Java Servlets/JSPs, JSTL, Struts, JDBC and web services.
• Minimum 2 years of SQL creation and maintenance.
• Proven experience building and troubleshooting web-based applications.
• Very strong SQL skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage own work effort when required.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Proven ability to multitask.

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
